Results & expectations

“Is a renewal step what I need?”

If you want to introduce a retinoid, Nocturne gives it a defined place in your evening care. If your priority is moisturizing comfort, Eternal MycoLume may be the simpler choice. You do not need both in the same routine.

The Rest & Restore Ritual

Extend the moment of care

Complete your evening ritual, only where it helps.

Begin with Cloudweave’s hydration layer, follow with Nocturne on your renewal nights, then extend the moment to your body with Velvet’s comforting moisture.

When you want clarity

Your questions, answered.

When will I begin to see results?

Skin feel and visible changes vary. We do not promise a fixed next-morning or 4–6-week result. Introduce gradually and assess comfort and your skin’s response.

Can I use Nocturne every night?

Begin twice weekly for weeks 1–2. Increase only while skin remains comfortable. Nightly use is optional, not a goal everyone needs to reach.

See the full introduction schedule
What should I pair it with?

If it is part of your routine, apply Cloudweave after cleansing and let skin dry fully before Nocturne.

Do I need sunscreen while using Nocturne?

Yes. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning.

“What should I avoid?”

Other retinoids, exfoliating acids, strong scrubs, benzoyl peroxide, and products that already irritate your skin. Read the full care guide for suitability and pause-use guidance.

Retinoid care & gradual introduction

Evening only. Patch test first and wait 24–48 hours. Do not begin if redness, itching, swelling, or discomfort occurs. Patch testing does not guarantee irritation-free use.

Apply a pea-sized amount to the face on clean, fully dry skin. If you use Cloudweave, apply it first and let skin dry fully. Avoid the eye area, eyelids, lips, corners of the nose, and broken, sunburned, or irritated skin.

Weeks 1–2: Two nights weekly. Weeks 3–4: Three nights weekly if comfortable. Week 5 onward: Every other night if comfortable. Continue at this frequency or increase to nightly use only if well tolerated.

Avoid other retinoids, exfoliating acids, strong scrubs, benzoyl peroxide, and products that already irritate your skin. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning.

Do not use during pregnancy or while trying to conceive. If breastfeeding, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.

Reduce frequency or pause if uncomfortable. Stop use for persistent burning, swelling, significant redness, cracking, or rash. Seek professional guidance for persistent, painful, or concerning changes.

HPR Retinoid Renewal ingredient card

HPR Retinoid Renewal

A retinoid for the renewal-focused evening step.

The science

Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate is the retinoid ingredient in this formula. Ingredient research can inform its cosmetic role, but does not establish identical results for every finished product. Introduce Nocturne gradually, keep your routine simple, and assess comfort rather than treating nightly use as a requirement.

Why it’s in Nocturne

To give Nocturne a defined retinoid role in your gradual evening routine.

Moisture-Binding Glycerin ingredient card

Moisture-Binding Glycerin

A humectant for moisture-binding care.

The science

Glycerin is a humectant used to attract and retain moisture in the outer skin layers. Its role complements the formula’s conditioning ingredients. Hydration can improve the feel of dry skin; the ingredient list alone does not establish a fixed duration of hydration or a guaranteed next-morning result.

Why it’s in Nocturne

To complement the moisturizing care of the crème with a moisture-binding ingredient.

Jojoba Comfort Lipids ingredient card

Jojoba Comfort Lipids

Emollient ingredients for soft, conditioned skin.

The science

Jojoba seed oil and caprylic/capric triglyceride are emollient ingredients. They condition the skin surface and complement glycerin’s moisture-binding role. Nocturne uses this combination in a rich crème format; comfort and the perception of heaviness will vary between users.

Why it’s in Nocturne

To add conditioning care to the formula’s rich finish.

Reishi + Chaga Mushroom Complex ingredient card

Reishi + Chaga Mushroom Complex

Nocturne’s two mushroom extracts.

The science

Hydrolyzed Ganoderma Lucidum Extract and Inonotus Obliquus Extract are the Reishi and Chaga ingredients in the supplied list. They form the formula’s mushroom story. Their inclusion is not evidence that Nocturne prevents retinoid irritation or produces a clinically measured protective effect.

Why it’s in Nocturne

To include the two mushroom extracts that distinguish this formula’s botanical story.

Green Tea + Vitamin E ingredient card

Green Tea + Vitamin E

The formula’s green tea extract and Tocopherol.

The science

Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract and Tocopherol are the green tea and vitamin E ingredients in Nocturne. They bring an antioxidant ingredient story to the formula. Ingredient properties should not be presented as a measured finished-product result without relevant testing.

Why it’s in Nocturne

To complement the retinoid and moisturizing ingredients with green tea and vitamin E.

The Science Behind Nocturne

Nocturne brings together moisture-binding glycerin, conditioning lipids, mushroom extracts, green tea, vitamin E, and Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate. The three illustrated themes explain ingredient roles, not proven biological stages or a clinical before-and-after.

Nourish

Glycerin provides a humectant role. Hydrolyzed collagen, jojoba oil, and caprylic/capric triglyceride complement the formula’s conditioning care.

Support

The emollient base brings moisturizing care. Reishi, Chaga, green tea, and vitamin E form the botanical and antioxidant ingredient story.

Reveal

The retinoid provides a defined renewal-focused role. Appearance outcomes and timing depend on the finished formula and individual response; no fixed timeline is promised here.

Artwork is illustrative, not evidence of Nocturne’s effects inside the skin.
